If you could give one piece of advice to every single person in the world, what would it be?
Listen. When people tell you who they are, listen and accept them for who they are and start there and work with that. So often we want to control outcomes so we only hear what we want to hear and try to manipulate the rest into being what we want. Nah… just listen and accept and be honest with yourself.
What is your happiness hack?
Reach out and help someone else. Check on a friend, talk to a stranger, do something kind for someone, anyone. It's amazing how being in service of someone else's experience and getting out of your own personal drama can give you perspective and brighten your mood.

This is constantly in flux, but I’d say “The Last Poem” by Tagore, “What is the Bible” By Rob Bell, “The Wind up Bird Chronicles” by Murakami, absolutely anything by Richard Rohr. And you should always stop and take in a little Rumi at some point in your life.

On a Sunday morning, we’ll find you…
Reading, having an extra long quiet meditation, drinking Yerba mate, and then going to church with friends or alone, depending on how social I feel. And then if time and energy permits, cooking up some meals for the week.
